We are strengthening our research team, and we are thus looking for the Senior Scientist focused on development of DIANA-based methods for screening and inhibitor profiling of human kinases.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Oversee the development of DIANA-based assays targeting a variety of human enzymes, initially focusing on human kinases.
- Perform scientific reviews of potential targets to assess their development potential (both from a scientific and marketing perspective).
- Work closely with the marketing and sales department to focus on relevant targets and develop the best possible product for end customers.
- Maintain detailed records and report results during department seminars.
What are the requirements?
- PhD degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Experience in biochemistry and enzymology, preferably in ELISA and enzymatic assay development, and/or q(RT-)PCR techniques is highly appreciated.
- Deep understanding of DIANA technology, particularly in identifying novel active compounds.
- Self-motivated individual who works independently and is capable of overseeing and guiding junior colleagues.
- Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and good communication skills.
- Highly organized working style.
- Several years of experience in an industrial or academic laboratory are preferred.
